Heat shrink tube is a special polyolefin material which can also be called EVA material. The outer layer is made of high-quality and soft cross-linked polyolefin material and the inner layer of hot melt adhesive. The outer layer has the characteristics of insulation,corrosion resistance and wear resistance and the inner layer has advantage of low melting point,waterproof sealing and high adhesion.

Cold shrink tube generally refers to the cold shrink cable accessories.The cold shrink cable accessories are injection vulcanized which use elastomer materials(silicone rubber and ethylene-propylene rubber are commonly used). Then expanded and lined with plastic supporting pieces on then end or joint of the cable after treatment.When install the site,we need to draw our the internal plastic supporting cores and press it on the cable. The cold shrink tube is easier installed than the heat shrink tube.No need heating or other tools.In summary,the cold shrink tube is better than heat shrink tube in installation way and technical performance.
