We always provide heat shrink breakout for cable branch protection. But some it need fire to heat it when use. For telecommunication customer, it’s impossible for them to heat it. They normally choose cold shrink breakout to replace. Recently, one customer told us their cable is just 2mm diameter. We never produce so small breakout before. We make a new model for our customer and successfully made the 5mm inner diameter cold shrink breakout as the following:
